Corrections and updates
Material errors are treated differently from routine wording changes. The priority is to correct anything that could alter a safety decision, ownership route, product choice or interpretation of the evidence.
There is currently no public correction-submission channel. The contact page records the current contact status and will be updated if a verified reporting route is added.
What counts as a material error
Examples include unsafe instructions, a wrong measurement, an unsupported technical conclusion, incorrect regional responsibility guidance, or a citation that no longer supports the surrounding claim.
- Safety or chemical-handling errors
- Incorrect drain or sewer responsibility
- Unsupported product or service claims
- Broken, superseded or mismatched evidence
How a correction is handled
The relevant primary source should be checked and the affected page corrected as promptly as practical. A substantive revision should update the displayed date. A correction note should be added when readers need to understand what was previously wrong or when the change materially alters the recommended next step.

- Correct the affected passage
- Review linked decision steps
- Record a material change where context requires it
Routine updates
Spelling, formatting, link maintenance and wording changes that do not alter meaning do not normally need a correction note. They should not be used to create a misleading impression that the article has undergone a new technical review.
